This should be fixed in KDE 4.2.2 as long as you open kolourpaint
through the menu. We added the -graphicssystem raster flag to the
execution path of the .desktop file.
Otherwise you can use kolourpaint with the -graphicssystem raster flag
from the command line. Let's keep this but open, but bump
Oh, actually there's a better patch that we could use that would stop
the crash from both the command line and menu.

I can also confirm this bug and with -graphicssystem raster option I wasn't
able to see any more crashed.
