Just after startup everything is responsive but quickly it all turns
sluggish
Kubuntu 9.04 fresh install then updated

Hello.
Updating the drivers from xorg-edgers launchpad repository seems to fix my
problem.
At the moment I did not get back graphics corruptions in KDE/qt apps.
I updated this packages:
xserver-xorg-video-ati
xserver-xorg-video-radeon
xserver-xorg-core
libgl1-mesa-dri
libgl1-mesa-glx
Similar problem here.
Usually I get corruption at the top of the screen in konqueror and Dolphin. The
problem in Kate often appears between the text of the center. Sometimes appear
as the file attached by Martin, others like screenshot that I uploaded. Not
only happend doing scrolling,
