I also experience this. It make Evolution and therefore Ubuntu unuseable. I played with running a VM just for XP/Outlook. The fix of removeing the folder works. However then you have to wait for the emails to resync. My exchange mailbox is only about 1.2 Gigs in size. Even Outlook can handle

I have the same problem. Evolution with exchange connector was working good for awhile in Ubuntu Feisty. The --force-shutdown directive doesnt work for me. I have to literally restart X...then evolution will work for awhile then loose connection to backend process. Could this be an X issue?
