With the latest version in Karmic, all three buttons are enabled when
appropriate. Cancel is only disabled while KPackagekit is doing un-
cancelable changes such as dpkg runs. (Committing changes at the end of
updates/package installs)
The main thing here seems to be that there isn't a details
I can confirm this. The lack of a Details console is a pretty serious
regression (IMHO), at least to people like me who like to watch the
output as packages are installed.
