(1) sounds familiar to another issue that was fixed a few weeks ago, do you still see it occurring with everything up-to-date? If so, file it as a new bug. Likewise, is (2) still an issue with everything up-to-date and a stock xorg.conf? ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu)
