Public bug reported: Binary package hint: wink
Obtained Wink via Add/Remove in Hardy Heron and is Wink 1.5. After launching Wink I clicked Help > User Guide and I got this message: The user guide is present at /usr/lib/wink/docs/Wink User Guide.pdf. Please view it using your PDF viewer. Aha, this is not true. There is no such directory as /usr/lib/wink/docs/ and looking through all the folders at /usr/lib/wink, I cannot find a pdf file at all. So I decided to try the tutorial. I clicked Help > Tutorial 1 and I got this message: This project does not have a rendered output file. Do you want to render now? Not sure. Well I click Yes anyway and then get: Cannot create output file /usr/lib/wink/Samples/tutorial.swf I think, "okay, so maybe the second tutorial will work." I clicked Help > Tutorial 2 and I got the same messages from Tutorial 1. I am completely lost. I cannot find anything to help me to figure out how to use it. I am assuming that this is a bug. Am I wrong? ** Affects: wink (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Tutorial and User Guides do not work. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/343608 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
