Ubuntu: 8.10 Network Manager: Installed: 0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubuntu1.8.10.2 When booting the machine with the UMTS stick plugged in then NetworkManager recognizes the device. When hotplugging the device nothing happens. On https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NetworkManager/Hardware/3G my setup is reported to work properly. Only difference is that I'm using the latest hso driver 1.9. Attached you can find the output from lshal and the system log.
