I can confirm this bug. It happens ocasionally, once in 5 resumes.
I tried on 8.04 8.10 9.04 x86, and now also on 9.10 x86_64. I have broadcom
wifi. Somebody should try resolve this nasty bug but i have no idea why it is
happening!

in addition to this bug report, i posted a bug 3 weeks ago upon the same
issue. i use 9.04 Jaunty.
since it's not 64-bit, i believe it's not quite a duplicate, but it's
your call in any case..
