Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: fontconfig

After a recent upgrade of the fontconfig packages on Jaunty, subpixel
rendering (and traditional grayscale antialiasing) is/are disabled in
some fonts on Firefox and Konqueror (and possibly other browsers too, I
have not checked). These fonts seem to be Arial-like sans-serif fonts,
but I am not sure. The site it is most prevalent on is
http://laptopvideo2go.com/. I have noticed it on a few other sites as
well. I have not been able to recreate the issue in OpenOffice.org or
any other program, though, only the web browsers.

** Affects: fontconfig (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
