If I rebuild gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg, the problem goes away. The build must
have just come out bad somehow.

do you rebuild the same optimization options? upstream suggested that
you don't have ffmpeg 0.5 which is the jaunty version, do you have a
local install?

Oh, I did have a local install of ffmpeg that I forgot about. Removing
the libs in /usr/local/lib makes the problem go away.
Odd that what was supposed to be a zero-changes rebuild caused a problem
with this...

thank for your work on that, it's weird that the revision change makes a
difference because the new revision is a no change rebuild for lpia
toolchain issues though
