Public bug reported: I'm experiencing a few problems with 9.04 xorg, a Radeon 3300, and fglrx:
1) Screen flashes randomly, as if the video card power cycles. My monitor (Dell 2407WFP) shows the DVI symbol when it comes back, so it seems like it's doing some sort of power save/resume. 2) I configured xorg to turn off my monitor after X minutes, but it doesn't seem to do anything. 3) This last one is harder to pinpoint, but it seems like after Xorg has been running for a while (1-3 hours), Xorg consumes as much CPU as it can and the overall system becomes very sluggish. I'm unable to open any new applications. The scrollwheel on my mouse quits working. Open applications, such as firefox, continue to work slowly. This may come up only after I use the computer after it idles for longer than the monitor sleep-mode setting - I'm not certain yet.
