OK, so from the Magic number returned with the resume debug it appears
the kernel gets to the end of function that is responsible for resuming
all the drivers, so clearly all the resident modules are resuming. This
makes tracking the problem down a little more tricky. I will consult the
logs a
@mrbn, I suggest booting off the LiveCD and then doing a suspend/resume
test rather than installing it - this way we can focus on the
suspend/resume issue first.

OK, now i've done this several times with the same result - pc
powerlight+disklight+cdlight turns on an blink sometimes but after maybe
5-10 seconds nothing happens anymore. so i turned the pc off and on and

i've loaded the image, burned it and had tried to install it to an second
system on my harddisk with ext4. Installprocess finished sucessfull and i tried
to boot it - but nothing happened (just no system press any key). i tried to

suspend hat unter ubuntu auch in vorigen versionen nicht funktioniert (gleiches
fehlverhalten vom system)
unter win2k war suspend kein problem
