Me too! I'm also using a Rockbox (revision 20666) on a Sansa e280 v1. Trying to connect it to my Thinkpad R52. After plugging it in it's stuck at usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning. I do not have problems on other operating systems (Gentoo Linux, Windows XP, OS X 10.5)
