Now I'm on ubuntu 10.04 and deluge 1.2.3 (libtorrent: 0.14.10.0).
No any serious problems. No crushes at all.
Maybe slow reaction on mouse clicks :-)

Did Deluge crash when you tried to replace the old torrent? Please file a new
bug report (even if it involves Deluge crashing; if we find out that it's the
same bug, we can mark that bug as a duplicate).
