The latest SVN works.
Considering this project isn't very active would it be okay if I built a
package from the current revision?
I'm not having any problems so far.
I did have to tweak the makefiles to get it to install correctly though, I'll
see if I can track down the cause of that.

Can we reopen this bug? I'm seeing exactly what Patrick Cornelissen
posted in his screenshot png - the temperature applet does not follow
the desktop theme. It's especially ugly when using the new Ambience
theme. I've seen this since I upgrade my laptop to Lucid.

$ dpkg -l computertemp | grep ii
ii computertemp 0.9.6.1-1.1 computer temperature monitor applet for GNOME
Can the mentioned fix be ported to Lucid?

Screenshot from Lucid... Especially ugly since Lucid uses with
Ambiance/Radiance brackground images inside the panel.

This is indeed fixed in the current svn, install using:
$ sudo apt-get install gnome-common python-gtk2-dev subversion libgconf2-dev
checkinstall
$ svn co http://svn.infinicode.org/computertemp/trunk/computertemp
$ cd computertemp/
$ sh autogen.sh --prefix /usr
$ make
$ sudo checkinstall -D
I should note, there is an upstream bug report for this issue:
http://developer.berlios.de/bugs/?func=detailbugbug_id=11085group_id=6500
The comment recommends trying the latest source, but I can't get past
autogen.sh (complaint about missing glib-gettext; can't find appropriate
package).
