Is the compat-wireless stack the same as the old madwifi drivers? If it is I don't think this will do me any good. On Hardy/Intrepid I ran always on the latest SVN version of those drivers and crashes were quite frequent there. No instant lock up, but a after a while (hour or 2) it would lock up co

The crash originated from the LiveCD version of Jaunty. Upgrade to the .12 release of the kernel fixes the crash, though I'm still left with the occasional failure to connect to/disconnect from the wireless router (linksys wrtn160). I've reverted the upgrade to .13 of the kernel as this brings back
