Requesting a backport to 8.04 LTS. With 1.0 Beta, getting "Connection
Failed" message. Not behind a proxy, twitux works fine. This package is
unusable.

It connects fine now but appears there's a time bug:
Interprets minutes as days, e.g. someone posted a twitter 28 minutes ago but
gtwitter reports "28 days ago"
Interprets hours as x10 days, e.g. 4hours ago = "46 days ago")
Interprets seconds as days
