We loaded jaunty on a MALIBAL Satori on Oct 11th, 2010. The newer

Wow, abhiroopb good post! Unfortunately my system fails to booting with
the complete fix, so be careful. I know you guys are going to laugh at

I have two different laptops overheating on jaunty. I had no problems
with intrepid or fiesty on the same machines. I can boot into windows
and they stays cool.
It gets hot enough to burn even when the labtops are closed.
They are ext3 installs.

To be fair it doesn't have to be vmware, it can be any heavy long
term process. After shutting its self down it will immediately shut
down again until it has cooled down.If you close this ticket, i'm
moving to another distribution because this bug wasn't an issue under
Hardy.
