Public bug reported: I was browsing using Firefox. I was notified that there are some updates. I was shown that kernel 2.6.27-14 is also available among others. I asked it to proceed and install them. It downloaded the updates. It was trying to install it, but before the installation dialog goes away, an icon appeared on the top Panel with a balloon notification that there is a crash report available to be sent to the forum. The crash report mentioned that the installation of the kernel update failed. I OK'd it to go ahead, which took me to this page. I registered myself and sending you this report.
