Hm.
I downgraded my jaunty's WPA Supplicant to Intrepid one, and I've been
able to achieve more than one hour without being disconnected. So maybe
the issue lies in changes of WPA Supplicant from 0.6.4 to 0.6.6 after
all ?

It's now nearly 22:00, and still no issue.
For information, I have the following in my daemon.log file :

You received this bug notification because you
Last disconnection was followed by an automatic reconnection managed
correctly by Network Manager, without reasking for certificate & private
key.
In the mean time, I connected another box that's still running an
Intrepid release. Absolutely no issue of this kind, using the same USB
wifi plug than
And a couple of seconds ago, it just went online, asked me to reconfirm
the EAP-TLS configuration, which I acknowledged, and it reconnected to
the network just some seconds after.
It's like NetworkManager is unable to resend correctly the credentials
sometimes.

I confirm it seems to work, yet it's strange and I'm not sure there's no
issue underlying in NetworkManager :

I think I solved the issue. In my /etc/freeradius/radiusd.conf, I
changed the daily counter.
Previously, there was :
counter daily {
filename = ${raddbdir}/db.daily
key = User-Name
count-attribute = Acct-Session-Time
# reset = daily
reset = 1h
count
Hm, same issue under Fedora Core 11.

With wpa_supplicant from Karmic, no improvement. I'm currently testing
with Fedora Core 11 (Preview), that uses the same version of
NetworkManager (i.e. 0.7.1).

I can reproduce this with a zd1211 based USB wifi plug :

So, clearly not related directly to ipw3945 network card.
