Public bug reported: Binary package hint: homebank
I recently installed KDE on my Jaunty system and it seems that in the process my bank's home banking security software was removed. It was ING's 'HomeBank (with the apostrophe), which I had downloaded as a deb from http://ing.be, and which was installed in the folder /opt/homebank. I presume that the culprit is homebank. There is obviously a naming problem here. I presume from the apostrophe that the one that ships with KDE is the rightful owner of the name. I know that ING is about as responsive as Belgian and Dutch organisations often are, but maybe if someone were to contact them on behalf of the world's most popular Linux distribution, something could be done to improve the situation. ** Affects: homebank (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- installation of HomeBank removes ING 'HomeBank https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/380511 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
