Public bug reported:

First Problem: I am trying to upgrade intrepid to jaunty from the
released of jaunty. everytime i update all my packages using update
manager and expect it to show me the message that "new version of ubuntu
is available" it never showed that message. My pc is completely updated,
thr are no pending updates. Still it is not showing new version of OS.

Second problem: today I received jaunty CD and tried to upgrade using cd. When
I put cd into cd drive. It prompt me for autorun. The autorun never worked on
my pc in ubuntu. this time also it said unable to find autorun files.
Then I searched over internet and again tried with this command gksu "sh
/cdrom/cdromupgrade" It aks for my password and didnt gave any response after
that.
For whole day i was searching on the internet for the solution and didnt found
anything for me.

hope this problem will get solve soon and I will be using jaunty.

thanks
