I think it should actually have a very high priority - it's not only
about user comfort, it's also about servers load... I assume it's
already quite large (because my download speed isn't really high...).

A Hungarian distro had done successfully it 5 years ago:

They aren't even a proper Debian-based distro.
Ubuntu should be able to do this :)
