Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
If you change your screen resolution via gnome-display-properties this
last asks to you if you want to restore previous configuration or to
apply the one you have previous selected. Either if you select "restore
previous configuration" or you let spent the seconds after which gnome-
display-properties should reset the config nothing happens: that is the
previous config isn't applied until you restart X.
Tested with Hardy and gnome-control-center 2.22.1-0
