upstream investigate it further as we are dealing with some other bugs
too and we have limited resources.

The old upstream bug (592363) is duplicate of this bug.
And, I also confirm this problem with Ubuntu Karmic Alpha 5, using Ekiga
from repos.
Workaround:
Use the Command Line (Terminal), and Start ekiga with:
ekiga -c h323:u...@h323_server
