I confirm this. When installing Ubuntu Feisty Beta, the NTFS-resize
operation gave no feedback of progress to the user. After a long wait
the resize operation was suddently finished, but the user had no clue
about if it works and how long it would takes to resize the old
partition..

Is this really fixed? I still get no feedback with 6.10 or 7.04 (Feisty
Beta). Both installs were on new laptops with Vista NTFS partitions.
Everything works fine for me with Vista (NTFS) partitions, just no
feedback...

resizing, and may thus make the user belive the system has freezed.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Choose resize from installation options
2. specify how much to resize and press cont
