Hiding a menu entry is not a fix.
This needs to be an optional item which gets installed if you have and
when you connect an HP LaserJet 1018/1020.

Ah, sorry, I was wondering why you pointed to a completely unrelated
bug. Depending on what the application does (I'm not sure I haven't used
it) would would you recommend the menu name be called?

I agree completely with Max and Tormod, this should be something taken
care of by an extra package like hplip and should not be on a default
installation as most users do not own HP printers. Looking at the
