Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

Currently, Pidgin can set the user's status automatically based on the
time no message was written or no activity on the keyboard or pointing
device is registered. This time is adjustable and every status ever
created is selectable, but only one at once.

I think, it might be preferable, if it was possible to set up more such
rules.

For example, one might be considered as "afk" if there has been no
activity in the past 5 Minutes, but if one did not use the computer in
the last hour and probably will not in the next two, it might be better
to go "invisible" or even log off completely.

A possible solution might be to integrate the "saved states"-dialog into
the preferences' "status/inactive"-tab.
