It also affects me. The Ubuntu Firefox theme is not invasive at all, but
this one surelly is. Please, if you can, remove it from the next
release.

I think that developers just forgot to test "disable" action. In old
releases of Ubuntu was alternative default page too, but it is be easy
to disable.
