The thing is its debatable if bluez.class = "0x240404" as I don't think
it is as its HSP/HFP and your device is multiprofile and the default is
HSP/HFP.

Adding some more info...
If I connect using the a2dp profile with some tool like the blueman, the
following message appear
W: module-bluetooth-device.c: Default profile not connected, selecting off
profile
D: module-bluetooth-device.c: Connected to the bluetooth audio service
I: module.c: Loaded
There has been no activity on this bug for a while. Is this still an
issue with either Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 with latest updates installed, or
Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 alpha 3?

Just to complete this bug:
pacmd set-default-sink bluez_sink.00_15_0E_A0_6C_C8 waits until the adapter
is disconnected.
The device is disconnected after some time too.
