The Feature Freeze is scheduled for this Thursday, we can't wait until
the next week so I think it had better merge the current release
available in debian sid.
James, if I merge and upload that, will there be any problem?

Okay. It doesn't take as long as it does for the ftp-master's approval
in Debian does it (~3 weeks), as it will be *way* past the Feature
Freeze then?

This can be fixed by replacing automake1.10 with automake in
debian/control. There's a debian/control avaliable at
http://svn.debian.org/viewsvn/collab-maint/deb-
maint/lives/trunk/debian/control?revision=14107 that has this, although
it also has a few other updates to the version in
