I changed the command slightly to reflect the fact that in firefox 3.0
the problem is also caused by the Adblock Plus 1.1.1 plugin.
The problem here must be with Adblock Plus version 1.1.1. So I installed
the repository version, 1.0.1, and the applet in question now works
fine. I had installed

then they all work. Doesn't that applet give you the option to trust

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become
corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new
profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your
old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to
