Hi mmbossoni,
In your description you mentioned X crashes - is this correct or would
it be more accurate to say it freezes? With a crash, X usually
restarts itself; freezes lock up the system (sometimes only the mouse
still moves). I ask because different approaches are used to debug each
case.
Freeze describes better the problem..
I cannot use keyboard or mouse.

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you've
made any customizations to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.
