Never reproduced that with my numerous recent karmic eucalyptus installs.
I'd tend to consider it fixed in karmic. Please reopen if you can reproduce
with a karmic UEC.

I didn't encounter that in my karmic UEC.
I will test some more and confirm/invalidate on karmic.

Chris, Thomas-
Which set of tools are you using? euca2ools or ec2-api-tools?
Could you try both, and report if both sets exhibit the issue? I'm
going to mark this bug as affecting ec2-api-tools as well, though it
might be Invalid.
Marking confirmed in Jaunty, incomplete in Karmic. As soon as

Etienne: I've subscribed Thomas Herve who reported the issue to me. I'm
not sure how he's spawning the instance, but I've not seen this in any
of my testing with ec2-api-tools 30349 as either the admin user or my
personal user.
Thomas: perhaps you could add some detail about anything in
Sure thing.
I'm using ec2-api-tools 1.3-30349 as well.
List of commands and output:

Chris,
Do you have a way to trigger this bug? I am interested in reproducing
it for my own edification.
