I have this problem too with Amilo m1439g.
I have Realtek ALC880.
All input not work. (mic - line in)
and not work volume-wheel too

Things have improved a bit in Edgy Beta, though I still don't have full
functionality. I still had to change the default settings to get sound
mixing to work seamlessly (like disabling ESD).
I can now record from my mic in sound-recorder and audacity. Under
Dapper I couldn't even choose an input
You can attach files when you add a comment. The form to attach a file
is at the bottom of the webpage.
Do you still have this problem with an updated Dapper, or better still,
with Edgy Beta? Thank you for your feedback.
