Bitstream Vera Serif rendering problem
Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and help to improve
Ubuntu.
This bug was originally reported against the version of freetype in
Ubuntu 6.06 LTS, where I expect it is still present. I have not been
able to reproduce this with the version of libfreetype6 in gutsy
