It took me a while, however I've tested iAudio 7 on Karmic beta and it
works splendidly. As Karmic appears to be doing! I've tested using Live
USB. I'm looking forward to the final release.

live system from the desktop CD (or write it to an USB stick and boot
from there). No need to actually install Karmic just yet.

Due to major problems with Karmic I've done a clean install and downgraded
to Jaunty. I'll upgrade when the release is final and will post a
follow-up if the problem is still present. I'm sorry that I can't assist
with this bug, but upgrading my production machine appeared to be an
unwise

Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it without more information.
In Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) we have a new tool to debug storage related
problems. Please run ubuntu-bug, select storage problem, and walk
through the steps. This
not sure if the issue is a devicekit-disks or a media-player-id one,
martin could you have a look to that one?
