good to know it's been fixed. as I'm using ubutnu 8.10, probably that's
why I'm not getting the update..

migrate queues for the hpcups driver (hplip-cups package) to the HPIJS
driver when updating
Now all utilities which require the Python GUI are moved to the hplip-
gui package. All HP utilities which stay in the hplip package can be run
in text mode using the -i or -n options.
