If i plug something in, and than pull it out makes the internal mic
working, but obviously this is an awful solution. It would be so small
to do to make it elegant, why this is stuck? TT invalid, why?

To make the internal microphone load in at startup, add the amixer line
(amixer set 'Input Source' 'Int DMic') to startup applications
(SystemPreferencesStartup Applications). I've found this has solved
the problem.

The problem is then that it disables the microphone input jack unless
you use Audacity of which you can enable it there (only for audacity
though).

I've found to get them both working you need the parameter amixer set
'Input Source' 'Int DMic' 'Mic' at startup and that works fine for both
mics (input and internal).

The resolution is to run the following command:

Hi Ronald,
Can you actually open a new bug report for the HP? The reason I say
this is that even though it seems to have the same audio controller it
has a different codec than the Toshiba. For now I'm closing this for
the Toshiba. Thanks!
