Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
Every time I log in to my machine (Kubuntu 64-bit Karmic) I get a message saying that I removed my sound devices, and it asks if KDE should forget their settings. Sound works fine, and I didn't remove any sound devices. I don't know if it's related, but I also get a message on startup saying that Pulse Audio failed and it was resorting back to my C-Media, though Pulse Audio is not set up as the first item in any of my sound configurations.
