Why has this bug marked as incomplete? There are a lot of people who
seem to experience it. Unfortunately I can not test it with Intrepid,
because the X-server permanently crashes on booting the live-CD (bug
already reported).

I have installed the unoffical driver. Now it is even worse. My Thinkpad
R50e crashes after resume.

keyboard still gives responses, everytime I press a key, the colors
change (but I can not see anything usefull). Pressing CRTLALTENF

That unofficial package appears to have fixed the bug for me. I haven't
had any issues on resume over the last few days, after installing that
package.
