Hi lemmy,
This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .
If it remains
Sounds similar to bug #451282, though that bug has to do with suspending
and not hibernating.

Hi, I have the same issue.
I will attach several files.
Whenever I hibernate, and resume, brightness is low.
Core2duo here, NVIDIA graphics.

This issue is not limited to Amd64. It also affects Core2 Duo system.
Same issue on Sleep as well as Hibernate.
Using NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 185.18.36) / GeForce
8600M GT
