I am using Xubuntu alpha 2 amd64 10.04 on radeonhd 4670 () with old CRT
monitor Hitachi cm772.
I have to uninstall plymouth (graphical boot animation and logger -
main package) to get rid of pc lock up on enter push.

As far as I can see, the workaround is disabling kernel mode setting -
just what I did, although in bug 417599 it's specific for intel cards.
