The fix would be in the latest release, most 5.1.0 .

It doesn't seem to be in Debian yet and I see no mention on the debian
page for most that the package is old. You may have to bump Debian about
this.

I just installed most on Ubuntu 18.04 and this bug is still there. You
have to press "n" twice to navigate around.
