Thank you for your bug report. As generic compiz as now been uploaded to
Feisty (compiz-quinn is now known as beryl), we need to see if your bug
is still present. If you can test the version of compiz in feisty
(1:0.3.3-0ubuntu2~git2006112 or later) and tell us if you bug still
exists, please do.
Please give us more info to allow us to figure out where the difference in
the
systems comes from.
My actual relevant versions :
libcairo2 - 1.2.2-0ubuntu2
compiz - 0.0.13.57-0ubuntu1
compiz-gnome - 0.0.13.57-0ubuntu1
compiz-core - 0.0.13.57-0ubuntu1
cgwd - 0.69-0ubuntu1
vmware version
vmware-player and vmware-server both work fine for me in compiz. So im
not sure what the problem is here.

@WilliamWolf
First, this is about VMWare Workstation. ( not Player/Server ) Although nobody
needs Workstation anymore (Server is better and free now... )
@all
I have just checked if vmware Workstation would run now ( all patches etc
applied) and - YES - no problems anymore.
Might be because
WilliamWolf: Your comment doesn't help us figure out what is wrong if
you don't tell us anything about the system. Are you running Edgy?
Also, the report is about VMware Workstation, not VMware player/server.
Please give us more info to allow us to figure out where the difference
in the systems
