Installed with Synaptic in Ubuntu 10.10 and libqt-svg was marked as a
dependency. Icons were working right away.

I will second elusivespoon... I had the same problem with 10.04 Alpha 3
and installing libqt4-svg fixed it. Should this be a required
dependency to install bibletime?

I had the same problem on a fresh ubuntu karmic. I installed amarok and
it fixed that.
Here are the dependances of amarok
Dépend: amarok-common (= 2:2.2.0-0ubuntu2), amarok-utils (= 2:2.2.0-0ubuntu2),

I've found this same bug. A fresh install of Ubuntu 9.10. I'm not sure
if it would be missing icons in Bibletime package, or some missing
dependency (such as a Qt library).
