Public bug reported:

Using a newly installed Karmic Koala installation, kernel 2.6.31-14-generic
#48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 16 14:05:01 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux. No other packages
installed (apart from Broadcom wireless drivers). Right-click on the
workspaces shown in the bottom right-hand corner of the desktop and select
Preferences from the pop-up menu. Increase the number of workspaces. The new
workspace is named Workspace X (where X is the next available one). Close the
Workspace Switcher Preferences window. Reboot the PC. Re-open Workspace
Switcher Preferences. Name of Workspace added is now Desk X.
See attached screenshot as this is repeatable (first added 2 extra workspaces
for a total of 4, added 2 new ones to demonstrate default name). If you hover
over each of the workspaces in the bottom right-hand corner these names are the
same as currently set up.
Expect default workspace names to be Desk 3, Desk 4, Desk 5... when adding a
new workspace (the same as what is seen after a reboot).
Tried to report this via the Help button, but the pop-up window (see
attachment) says it's not an Ubuntu package.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
