Same problem here with the SmartLink modem daemon on Ubuntu 9.10 (both upgraded from 9.04 and installed from scratch), on a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook S7020D with an hda-intel card. After reinstalling alsa with the hda-intel option (which is anyway necessary to get the sound working), if I keep th
