It is back again... rfkill unblock all is not working now. Just appeared
again that bug. phy0 is hard blocked and the rest unlocked.

I first want to say that there is something strange here, now its
working, I reboot, and continues working.
If I press the button for wifi, there appears a hp-wifi hard block, and
If I press it once more, it is removed.
As if the problem never existed. There is still something strange, as

block on both the phy0 and hp-wifi devices, correct? And your wlan

I have a similar problem with the atheros 5001 card.
Wireless worked in Maverick but not in Natty.
For Me:
If I plug in the Ethernet cable to a active port (switch box or hub or modem or
crossover to another computer) it also activates the wireless. Sometimes
immediately, and sometimes after a

I have installed Ubuntu-10.10 fresh and clean. And nothing has been fixed...
now the light, doesn't change of color (it is always in blue) and it still
doesn't connect. I would provide more logs, or kernel messages, but I don't

Hello once more, I installed ubuntu, the new version, lucid, and it got
worse. Now, the light I told you that was red is always blue, but
whatever I do, I cant neither see wireless access points. No way.
I tried with ndiswrapper, but it got fixed till I suspended, because
when I returnt, and now
