Does this happens with moc_2.5.0~alpha4+svn20120224-1ubuntu1 as well? In
Debian experimental there is the first beta available for testing too.

I am experiencing the same thing, it kinds of defies my purpose of using
mocp. I have never experienced it before though, and i have used it for
years.
